A scarce item in magnificently bright pictorial boards [24.5 x 35 cm], containing 36 full page plates with 1 photogravure and 190 collotype images in double pages.
  Images include” Beijing observatory; cemetery of German soldiers; Tongzhou-Beijing "highway”. Large folding plan of Peking, printed in black, with place names in Chinese; Arabic numerals printed in red are keyed to a table with names in roman transcription.
