Euphemia Margaret Tait (1866-1945), was a Liverpool born, privately educated journalist and novelist who wrote under the pseudonym ‘John Ironside’.

Octavo (book size 19.4x13.4cm), pp. vi [2] 280. In publisher’s blue cloth, spine lettered and ruled in brown, front panel with single filet border enclosing lettering and vignette of telephone with cable, all in brown, all edges trimmed. Dust jacket priced ‘$2.00’ to lower half of front flap.
