[Inman 547] with 24 colour illustrations painted by Walter Tyndale, plus a sketch map and plans of the Palace of Diocletian. Dalmatia stretched along the Eastern Coast of the Adriatic in modern day Croatia, and a small part of Montenegro. Stunning scenery from the coast to the mountain ranges, this area has now become a major tourist destination.
Condition: A very good to near fine copy, with rubbing to edges, bookplate and owners name to browned endpapers.
