  BAD CRAZINESS - On August 20, 2005, in a private ceremony in Aspen, Colorado, Thompson's ashes were fired from a cannon atop a 153-foot tower of his own design (in the shape of a double-thumbed fist clutching a peyote button) to the tune of Bob Dylan’s Mr. Tambourine Man.

Octavo (book size 24.3x16.8cm), pp. xxxii [2] 683 [3]. In publisher’s half black cloth over grey paper boards, spine and front boards lettered in red gilt, red endpapers. Dust jacket in later laminated cover and priced ‘U.S.A. $29.95 Canada $39.95’ to upper corner of front flap.
