The Thin Man - Dashiell Hammett 1934 - Alfred A. Knopf, New York - First Edition ‘The problem with putting two and two together is that sometimes you get four, and sometimes you get twenty-two.’

A handsomely bound first edition of Hammett’s hard-boiled detective novel, a story of mystery and mayhem in Manhattan, as ex-detective Nick Charles and his glamorous wife Nora, solve murders in between wisecracks and martinis.
