In publisher’s ‘Canton’ blue linen-grain cloth, spine lettered in gilt and with publisher’s name in black, front panel lettered in gilt and with author’s symbol blocked in black, all edges trimmed. Dust jacket priced ‘7/6 net’ to spine. Condition: Near fine, some foxing to foredge and a little to first and last few pages, minor rubbing to corners of cloth, gilt strong and bright, in very good dust jacket, toning to spine and rear panel, wear to corners with some loss to spine ends, two chips to head of spine, and smaller V chip to upper edge of front panel.
