Moonraker - Ian Lancaster Fleming 1955 - Jonathan Cape, London - First Edition, First impression, First State ‘Bond is what every man would like to be and what every woman would like to have between her sheets.’ - Raymond Chandler on Moonraker.

A stunning and therefore uncommon first edition, first impression, first state of the third James Bond title, with the notoriously toning and fading prone ‘flame’ design dust jacket which has only a small amount of the usual toning to spine and with bright orange and yellow flames to the front panel, rarely encountered thus.

Smartly housed in custom made black morocco leather and cloth clamshell case, titled in gilt.
Arguably one of the best Bond novels, with the dust jacket designed by Kenneth Lewis.
